Day two. Last night wasn’t too bad. This hospital has been amazing. Everyone goes out of their way to make us comfortable and it is really great. The nursery took care of Henry last night between feedings, 3 times for 2 hours each, which allowed us to get some sleep. Not enough sleep by any means, but sleep nonetheless.
We had some more visitors today. The cousins were able to hold and love the boy. Then he and mom had a short nap.
As I type this (to keep my mind busy) the boy is getting the snip. THEE SNIP. The poor guy has already had it rough today with two blood samples. He’s already worn out and now he’s getting the snip. Poor guy. My heart is beating fast for him. Poor mom is scared too but Robyn (currently visiting) is reassuring us that he will be fine, and I believe it.
